Your first reply to Bert was at 8:20 pm, not your second....but
apparently you are one of those people who does not value accuracy and
neurotically avoids facts.

Cheers.

"Glee", you're another one, aren't you?

Talk about nurosis, wow!

Just listen to yourself - "you are one of those people who does not value
accuracy...." ;

Listen, I'm refering to a post which says ;

" You're not, by any chance, one of those guys who, rather that just post
positive stuff that people fine useful, but wait until you find something
in other people's threads that you can start neurotically tearing into with
microscopic detail, are you ? "

.....and here you are, actually wasting time and energy, for the absolute
sole purperse of getting on my tits, posting.......;

"...first reply to Bert was at 8:20 pm, not your second..."

You idiot!

If you knew it was incorrect of me to say it was the [8:20pm] reply, then
you knew the correct one - and read it - SO WHY TELL ME?

For YOUR satisfaction : I apolagize for the inacuraccy, I should have
written ;

" Please refer to my second reply to Bert....

(Friday 28 January 2011 8:52 pm) "

....and I wish you would!

Because you're the idiot, obviously. I posted a link explaining how
Usenet is peered (not mirrored) because you were giving inaccurate info
in a direct response to Alf's question on that specific topic. Then you
refer me to your 2nd reply but cite the 1st reply instead. It was your
replies that were providing misinformation, and I responded for the
benefit of both you and Alf with the correct info. Most people consider
"correct info" to be what they "find useful". Apparently when someone
provides the correct info and it does not agree with your
misinformation, you become a frothing idiot. Look to yourself if you
want to point out neurosis!

If you had even an ounce of a sense of humour, you would have noticed
that I used the same wording as yours in my reply ("You're not, by any
chance, one of those guys who...), but obviously humour and irony are
not part of your skill set.

Apps default to list view. I would like them
to show details view by default.

I do NOT mean explorer.exe view. That is set to detail.
I mean apps, like owa, irfan, office, mplayerc, etc.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thank you to those that replied.
Will try the comdlg editor.

But my [last] point was Alf already knew that fact, and stated such at the
time, so why did you feel the need to chime in as well?

Because I felt the link I posted had a decent explanation of Usenet
peering... which was what was being discussed in that sub-thread... and
that explanation would be informative to the topic, not only to you or
Alf, but others who read the groups later. That is, after all, a part
of the helpfulness of the groups.... being able to search them and find
useful info.

Threads don't have "ownership" and anyone can "chime in" whenever they
like, and usually do.
