how to make address in bar disappear after I close out

Is there a way to make the addresses disappear after I close out of IE. I'm using running Windows X

Hello,

As far as I know, there is no known method to have your history of web
addresses to be cleared once you close Internet Explorer.

However, you can set your History retention to zero in "Tools" --> "Internet
Options" on the "General" control tab. This will make the browser clear out
the addresses after 24 hours.
