how to make a msi file

How do i make a .msi file so i can install programs automatically on users
machines in active directory. And if you install a program normally lets say
adaware or any programs that you have to click and maybe type in a path to
somewhere, how do you make it so when you do make the msi so the program
automatically installs on the users machine that there is no user interaction
required?
