How to make a flashcard template and import text?

How do I make a flashcard template for Powerpoint and import text into it?
Easiest format: WORD plus hint on side A; TRANSLATION plus note on side B.
(It would be nice if there were an animation so side A could flip to side B.)

Here is one way to do this (hopefully, I won't miss any steps):

(1) Create your PowerPoint template and go to View > Master > Slide
Master.
(2) Change the title are and the text area to be identical in font size
and size (or not if you want the answers to be different), and location.
(3) Set an entrance animation for the text area and an exit animation for
the title area. Make sure that whichever you animation you set second is
timed to be With Previous. I didn't see any built in animations that look
like a card flipping over, but most of the basic animations seemed OK.
(4) Close the slide master.
(5) You can save this as a template if you like or just work from this
file.
(6) Now, you need to set up your Microsoft Word file. The trick here is
to make sure that your questions are in the style Heading 1, and your
answers are in the style Heading 2. If you are proficient with Word
styles, you can set these styles up so that hitting Enter after a Heading
1 automatically puts you in the Heading 2 style and vice versa. That will
make it easier to type questions and answer, just typing a question on
one line and answer on another with no extra work.
(7) Be sure to close your Word file when you have finished editing it.
(8) Go to your open PowerPoint file (either the one you just created or
one based on the template you created).
(9) From the Insert menu, choose Slides from outline.
(10) Browse for your Word file and clcik the Insert button.

If you followed these steps (and any that I might have inadvertantly left
out) properly, you should have a flashcard PowerPoint that can import
Word documents.

Is this what you had in mind?
