How to logoff an ftp session in My Network Places

when connected to a ftp server via My Network Places (Add
Network Places) I can find no means to logoff the
session; closing the window severs the connection but
leaves the session running on the ftp server and you
can't re-connect to it. Anyone know how to logoff the
session?
