How to Log Password Attempts

Is there a way to log the date and time and user name for
any incorrect password attempts? I seem to remember this
being an option in Windows 2000, where the Event Log would
allow me to see the date and time and which user name was
being tried whenever anyone tried to log in with an
incorrect password. However, I can't find anything about
this in the XP help files. If someone knows how to turn
this option on, I'd appreciate some help.

Did you read my post? Because your reply doesn't even apply
to my question. I'm not trying to limit access to files or
folders or printers at all.

What i'm trying to do is log incorrect login attempts.

Thanks for all the help though.

Anyone else know how to log incorrect login attempts?

Carey,
I'm sorry, I read that article and it didn't really seem to
apply. But then i went to those settings anyway and I see
what you were trying to show me. Thanks for the help, sorry
about my previous post.
