how to log on using "remote desktop connection"

Hi,

I am using "remote desktop connection" to remote-logon two computers in
my company network. I can log on one of them, that has a login screen
with entries for user name, password and domain name. But I cannot log
on the other one because it has only user name and password and
complains that I should use a correct domain name. I try to enter the
following combinations but they still don't work:

myUserName@myDomainName
\\myDomainName\myUserName

How to enter the correct combination of user and domain names? Please
advise. Thank you for any help.
