How to "Log Off" from command-line (from batch script)?

I would like to know how to do the equivalent of:

Start->Log Off->Switch User

from the command-line. Is there a way to do this?

You can use the command line tool shutdown with the -l argument.
This tool is part of the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit tools
