How to link to Outlook Express AddBk from Wood 2007 to email

How does one set up the Outlook Express address book, as a valid address book
in the Word 2007 email function.

I know OE address book can be imported into Outlook and set up as a contact
list. However, the user does not want to use Outlook as there primary email,
but rather Outlook Express.

No version of Word can use the Outlook Express address book, only Outlook or
Exchange.

Hi Elbert,

In Word 2007 as in prior versions you can use the Windows/Outlook Express address book as part of the 'Send to' choices,
Office Button=>Send to=>Mail Recipient
then choosing 'To', 'CC' and 'BCC' choices if Outlook Express is your default email handler. You can also use the Outlook Express
address book in MailMerge operations under the Mailing tab.

You cannot use that address book if you're using the Envelope and Mailings choices, such as
Mailings=>Labels
or
Mailings=>Envelopes

when you use the Insert=>Address icon

BTW, I have a friend with a small horse ranch in Enumclaw. Very nice, peaceful place :)
