How to link a subform to another subform inside a tab control

HELP PLEASE!!!

I need to know how to link a subform to another subform inside a tab
control. I have been able to link both subforms by a common name but I also
want to link the two subforms by record so that when I am in:
SubForm 1
Record 1
and I sroll to record 2 then tab to SubForm 2 I want SubForm 2 to be on
record 2.

All help would be great.
