How to let Outlook 2000 connect to Microsoft Exchange server?

Hello

When we try to use Outlook 2000 to connect to our Exchange 2000
server, we cannot find the option to do so. Under Tools / Email
accounts, we can only add a POP mail account but NOT an Exchange
account. What can we do??

Adding an Exchange account under Outlook 2002 seems more simple. But
I'm sure there is support for Outlook 2000 as well?

Sounds like you've got Outlook 2k installed in Internet Mail Only mode.
OL2k/2003 have (thank goodness) dropped this - for your version, get your
Office/Outlook media handy, and go to tools | options - find the reconfigure
mail support button (don't remember which tab it's in) and you should be
good to go.

It worked! Thanks.
When I tried to search on support.microsoft.com to find answer to this
topic, I got useless/irrelevant information! Those "Troubleshooting
connection of outlook 2000 to exchange" articles point you to off the
tangent directions...

Glad it's working :)
