Is there any small program i can run or test that i can perform to know
for sure whether my laptop does or does not have (support) dual monitor

Also, if you have a normal monitor around the place, plug it into the laptop's
video output connector, reboot the laptop, then check your video display
properties (described in the link above). You can use the external monitor in
place of a video projector to do your testing.
