How can I run PPT and other programs simultaneously w/ dual monito

I have a dual monitor setup w/ PPT running on the secondary monitor.
However, when I open up MS word or Internet Explorer on the primary monitor,
I notice that the PPT slideshow pauses. It only resumes when I close out the
other program I'm using. PLS HELP!

Look at PowerShow add-in at
http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html - it allows you to
display slide shows on secondary monitor while you continue to use the
primary monitor.

I'm noticing suggestions w/ 3rd party apps. Is there any way to setup in
Powerpoint alone? Or are these apps the only way?
