When forwarding e-mails I want keep from showing from whom I received the
original e-mail. I was able to do it with Outlook 2000 but I can not find
help in this regard with 2003.

Hi gotcars,

The easiest way is for you to delete the information yourself. First click
FWD and then you are able to edit the original e-mail. Insetad of just
sending the e-mail with out adding a note or something, just click your mouse
in the letter and delete all of the information you don't want someone to see.

Now,if the messages you are trying to fowarded is burried so deep that you
have to open a half a dozen or more just to get to the actual picture or
whatever then it's a different story.

That's not how you should forward. When you get to the LAST page, the one
with the actual information on it then is when you click FWD. Not after you
close it. That may be the cause of your issue.

A couple of FYI's
The best way to preserve everyone's privacy is to always put your own email
address in the To... and everyone else in the Bcc... (blind carbon copy)
That way no matter how many people you send the e-mail to they will not see
anyone's e-mail address.

When I FWD an e-mail I like to make sure the document is in HTML and not
Plain Text. It's easier to work with. If you don't know what I'm talking
about then take a piece of awful junkmail and click FWD. Chances are it's in
Plain Text. There will be a column on the left of the page with Plain Text
typed repeatedly from top to bottom. Just above the Subject line in your
email you can click on Plain Text's drop down menu and change it.

If you want to customize your e-mail settings in Outlook here is where you
go:

Tools (on the toolbar at the top)
Options (the last selection on the menu)
Now the first tab on the Options window is Preferences
Click the E -mail Options... button
In the middle of the window you will see - On replies and forwards
In that section there are 2 drop down menus, go through each one and decide
which options you want.

Hope this helps you and anyone else with similar issues
