Combining and decoding binaries newsgroup files is best left to a dedicated
binaries newsreader rather than Outlook Express. I use Xnews, which is
freeware and available here:

Movie files in the binaries groups are generally posted in .rar format- if
the poster used something else like "hjsplit" for instance, details can
generally be found in the associated .nfo or other descriptive text file.
So when you're downloading movies, Xnews will be combining, decoding and
downloading a bunch of rar files to your hard drive, which must themselves
be decompressed using WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/ WinRAR will combine
and decompress all the rar files (you need them ALL) and you'll have a
complete movie.
I hope I didn't make that sound like too much of an ordeal- it's really
quite easy. Let me know if you have any problems.
