So i've installed the VP onto my computer. Its asking which system. Do I
enter the current Vista or the the xp? Also how do I install xp (home) onto
the VP? Or will it just go to the correct place?
Thanks,
Diane

Open VirtualPC, click on "new" and follow the instructions to create the
environment to accept the guest O/S. . Install Windows XP just as you would
on any other computer. Put the XP CD in the CD tray and start the guest you
have just created.

Remember, VirtualPC **IS** a computer - but there is no operating system
installed until YOU take the necessary steps to do so. Once you have
finished you now have a functioning computer.

After you have created the guest environment, and named it Windows XP (I
presume), you just insert the XP CD and double click to start the Windows XP
environment. A normal Windows XP install will begin.
