How to install vista 32 & 64 dual boot 4 drives 2 licensces

I have been loking but not finding instructions to install 32 and 64 bit
Vista ( yes I have 2 seperate licensce -am not trying to cheat Microsoft). I
had bought & installed 64 bit vista ultimate-however many devices and
programs not compatible. So I bought the 32 bit version as well ( i have an
individual licensce for each version). SO in stalled the 32 bit version
(wiped out the 64 as it interfered with the install). After a week of being
on 32 bit, I find that I would also like to install the 64 bit version on a
hard drive other thatn the 32 bit install. I have scoured the Inet and MS
sites but only see references to XP and Vista etc. Can anyone really help or
point me to install instructions that will guide me on how to now install 64
bit vista so I can enjoy dual booting into either at BOOT? Please don't
flame me for not being a genius...... but evrything I find is vague or does
not adequately address the question.

Thanks in advance for any help

Have you tried to create e a separate partition and install the 64 bit
to that one.

No I have not- for 2 reasons --- 1. I want the 6f bit version on an entirely
seperate drive, and during the install, Vista would not install onto a new
drive, it insisted on installing to the drive I had the 64 bit version
on-even after i deleted its partition and reformatted to a blank disk. I had
to physically remove the disc and only then would vista let me install to the
drive of my choice. I dont care if the main drive comingles top boot BCD
setup however I want everything else on 2 distinct physically seperated
drives.;

Different drive, - to be that's part of the separate partition setup
in that the partition can be on any drive. Strange though as I
would have thought that would not be an issue. I'll be trying it in
the next few weeks one I get my system running.

Brett please let me know how it goes-I just don't want to go through the pain
of reinstal.. I do have restore points and painfully learned I had to resize
the restore point folder as it automatically deletes old ones when the preset
limit is reached. I also have made full backup to a seperate hard dis as a
safety. This was so painful- Basicly I have 4 devices that 64 bit would not
support and the manufactures are " not making 64 bit driveres" Nikon, Canon,
and some software from different vendors. I wish you luck and hope you can
share. I appreciate your response and assistance-Happy new year!

Sure. I'll be glad to do that. I'll save this post. I will warn you
it may not be anytime very soon as today is the first day I've got the
system up. I'm installing XP Pro to get me going so I can port stuff
over but I do want to do Vista 64 so I may play with that one day.

Are you booting the computer from the respective DVD for each (32-bit
and 64-bit) installation? Sounds like you aren't. If you do, there
won't be any interaction between the two, except for boot manager.
