how to install Norton

I hope to install Norton software.But when i click setup.exe on Norton,it
stop installing and no any information. when i click instmsia.exe,it hints
such as:

"Wrong OS or OS version for apllication."

Anyone tell me how can i do?

The first thing for you to try may be the following.
At run time add or modify [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows],"CSDVersion" registry value to match the
same value on XP Pro machine (0x200 for XP Pro SP2).
