I'm having trouble, the bios has detected the slave drive
but I cant find it, can someone help me????

Once XP has booted, right click on My Computer and select Manage. On the
following screen, select Disk Management. The new drive should now show up
on the right hand side of the screen, from where you can partition it,
format it and assign it a drive letter. Only then will Windows Explorer be
able to 'see' it.

I installed my slave drive and I can see it in Device Manager, but whe
I go to My Computer - Computer Management - Disk Management, that dis
still does not show up. It ONLY showed me the original disk "disk 0"
Can anyone help me on this? Thank you very much.

John
