How to install a failed Windows Update on XP Pro.

I've noticed that my Windows Update history shows me that two updates
failed to install.

Clicking on the failure messages tells me to try to install them
again.

But it doesn't tell me how. Windows Update doesn't show the updates
as
needing to be installed...

So how do I do this? And why isn't it obvious?

Robert.

If you still needed those updates, Windows Update would offer them to
you. If Windows Update no longer offers them to you, either they're
already installed or you don't need them.

That's the great thing about Windows Update: It knows what you need and
lets you have it. Just like my wife.

Honest?

OK, well, thanks for taking the time to say that...

Recheck your update history to see if they are installed.
