we are using for our courses sharepoint. In sharepoint I have added a folder
with all the animations. If I start a presentation and i click to start a
movie he cant find it. I remove the movie and insert it again then a message
appear that he cannot in sert an internet address. how can I solve my
problem?

I don't know the answer to this. I would think it's the same as when you'd
insert a movie onto a website, and basically, you need to make pathless
links from the PPT file to the movie for that to work. Otherwise the PPT
file is looking for the movie somewhere on your harddrive.

FixLinks Pro should sort this out.

Or you could try putting your videos on the web and then using PFCMedia to
link to them. http://www.pfcmedia.com/

Neither of these add-ins is free, but both do have free trials so you can
test to see if you think they'll fix you up.

It'd depend on the mechanism sharepoint uses; I don't know the answer but if
PPT is doing the usual "open from the web" trick, it'd be downloading to a
local folder and opening from there. If that's the case, a pathless link
wouldn't help since nothing would trigger it to download the medai file to the
local folder as well. OTOH, if it really *can* open directly from a sharepoint
site (which it might be able to) then a pathless link would work.
