How to import a .eml file downloaded from yahoo into outlook?

Hello! I am trying to import my yahoo saved messages to outlook 2003. I
downloaded from yahoo a zipped file of messages, which I then unzipped and
saved on my desktop. I see that the messages are in there, each with a .eml
suffix after the message title. I have tried the import feature in outlook,
with "other" file types and "internet mail" type and nothing has worked so
far. Any clues what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

Drag and drop them into Outlook EXPRESS and then import into Outlook.
