I just got a new PC. My old hardrive is full of things I haven't figured out
how to transfer onto the new one. The old hardrive is a Maxtor diamondmax
plus 9 80GB ATA and the new one is a Western Digital SATA. How do you hook
them together with the Maxtor as slave? I don't want to rip all my stuff
again. HELP ME!!!!!

You don't "hook them together". One is SATA and the other is PATA, and the
connections are very different.

Instead, you remove the ATA drive from the old computer and install it into
the new. If the new computer has no IDE connector (for PATA), you won't be
able to do this.

Instead, you are stuck with a network solution or sneaker net.
