How to have Outlook task bar button display 1 folder or many

When Outlook 2003 is minimized on the task bar, I usually click this button
to get a full listing of the many folders (and messages) I have open at the
time. Somehow this setting has changed and I can only get one folder at a
time. Where do I change this setting to get back to the multiple folders
view? Thanks.

You usually click which button?

My Windows task bar runs across the bottom of my screen as the home for
minimized active applications showing-up as individual buttons for each
application. Clicking on the minimized Outlook button displays a pop-up list
of open items. Currently, Outlook allows only 1 folder to be open at a time,
so this pop-up listing similarly shows just 1 folder and any open emails. I
want to change Outlook back to being able to make any quantity of folders
active (open) and which will display on this pop-up list.

What you see popping up from the task bar handle is a list of windows that
application currently has open. If you open multiple Outlook windows,
multiple items will appear in that list. So of you want that list to
contain, say, Inbox, Contacts, and Calendar, open each of those windows
(right-click the fodler and choose "Open in New WIndow"), then minimized
them. Your pop-up list for the Outlook handle will then show all three.
This is basic Windows operation and has nothing to do with Outlook.

Hi Brian,
Is there a global preference for folders to "Open in New WIndow"?
If not, your answer is the solution I've been looking for. Thanks.
