how to get rid of those virtual drives

It seems with programs like Daemon Tool and Alcohol 120%, more and
more virtual drives are poping up under "My Computer". How do I
disable/remove them?

As the products you mention are drive emulators, I imagine you would turn it
off via their settings/options or unistall the programs.

well, that's the problem, I now have 3 of them, one just appeared
yesterday for now reason. For reasons too complicated to explain,
there is really now option to disable them from the programs, I don't
even know which virtual drive is from which program. I figure there is
a way to disable them from within Windows.

Just a guess but try to right click on the drive and see if you have a drop
or disconnect option.
