Hi, all

When my XPE image boots up, sometimes a pop-up windows would appear, which
prompts me to insert a cd to the cd-rom. I did add a CD-ROM and CDFS
component to my image when building it, but I donnot attach any CD-ROM to my
XPE machine. Since my machine has not any input devices, when the message
box pops up, my application window will be hide and I cannot do anything but
turn off the power and turn it on again.

It's strange that sometimes the message box appears, sometimes it doesn't.
What's wrong with my image? How to get rid of that?

Best Regards

Maverick

It may be that you have a driver that is incorrectly installed/registered. In
my experience XP Embedded always seems to think that it has been installed from
a CDROM and therefore if there is an update or driver required will ask you to
instert a CDROM even if there is no CD device on the system.
