Every time I print a printer icon shows in the system tray. I don't
hide system tray icons so I know what's going on there. The icon won't
go away. Keeps saying x documents to print. The printing is done. I
open every printer I have and make sure nothing is pending. Nothing in
the "spool\printers" folder. It's there till I reboot. It's a generic
windows printer icon, not a third party software icon. How do I get
rid of this thing? XP SP3.

Thanks

How many are active in control panel printers? Do you have a default

There are three. Two online and one that's not here. None have any
pending documents. There are no printer connected directly. The are
all shared from other systems. One of the online ones is the default.
Why? What are you thinking might be the problem?

Thanks

I was thinking of a possible driver conflict. Are you on a LAN?
