Hello

I have Outlook 2003 SP2 and XP Home Edition. I lost the News feature I had
in Outlook 2003. It no longer is under Go in the Menu bar. Nor in the
Customise of the Standard bar. How can I bring it back ?

How can I transfer emails from Outlook Express 6.0 SP2 to the Inbox of
Outlook 2003 SP2. Please assist. Thank you.

Regards
Hash

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click the No
button.

Hello Russ

Thank you for your reply. The News is now listed again under Go in the Menu
bar.

Please could you show how I can transfer emails form Outlook Express 6.0 SP2
to Outlook 2003 SP2. Also I would like to transfer Newsgroups created in
Outlook Express to Outlook 2003. Thank you.

Regards
Hash

You are mistaken. Outlook is not a newsreader so it will not contain
newsgroup posts or news accounts. That's what OE is for.
In OE, you can save posts to a local folder, then import those into Outlook
if you want.

Create a matching message folder in Outlook.
The use Outlook's Import Wizard to import those messages. File > Import and
Export... > Import Internet Mail and Addresses...
