How to get contact list when creating envelope address in surname

When chosing a name from contacts list for envelope the names appear not
surname order. therefore you get a load of MR etc and have to scroll through
all to find the correct surname.

The list is in surname order when displayed in Outlook

Any ideas please

Ask in an OUtlook newsgroup. The list you see is controlled by the
Outlook/Exchange Server end of things. Word only accesses it, but has no
control.
