Seeing Surname first in Contacts

How do I get my contacts listed in Contacts with surname first and christian
name second? Take me back to Outlook Express please!:)

Windows Mail?
Open the Contacts folder
right-click on the Names heading
check Last Name, to show this column
check First Name to show this column
click on the Last Name heading to sort up/down
drag First Name & Last Name headings to the positions you want them
 
That changes things but not what I wanted. I want the email column names to
be in alphabetical order. Thanks.
 
Just click on whichever column heading you want to sort... they toggle
between ascending & descending
