How to get back to the STANDARD 404 error page

Just where do you reset IE such that it will display the standard builtin
error pages rather then going to MSN or some other site and display their
search page? I really just want the standard error, if I need to search I
will do it my self.

Note this doesn't happen for 404s; it happens when DNS lookup fails.

I really don't care why it happens I just want to remove the change for IE to
go to some web site and change it to go to NO web site and just to display
the default page. I don't even want it to go to MSN which is the default for
a new install of IE. I don't need any help from any darn search site giving
me hints on where I should look. I know how to google or yahoo and find what
I want.

The biggest question here is WHY THE HELL does MS make it so hard to find
this location. It should be in options right out where we can all see it and
change it. I'm so damn sick of software vendors hiding this crap.

As previously noted, you can change this setting on the Tools | Internet
Options | Advanced tab.
