I was wondering how to find the proper graphis card driver for m
computer. I have Dell Dimension 4500, it's sort of old i understand
and i can't manage to find the Dell Resource Cd in which the driver i
loacted on. I have run command dxdiag, and i couldn't figure out wha
graphics card i have. Could any of you guys help me figure out wha
graphics card I have and how i can find the proper card driver. Th
reason is because everytime i scroll up or down it seems like th
page sort of "refreshes" but it doesn't fully refresh,
don't know how to explain this any clearer, but in a way it sort o
lags or what not. Could any of you guys help me?

Thanks in advanc

<snip>

It varies a bit depending on the OS you are using.

For Windows XP you should have 'Control Panel' aa one of the choices,
pick it.

On the bottom of that there should be an item called 'Performance and
Maintenance' pick that.

At the bottom of that there should be 'System' pick that.

On 'System' there should be 'Hardware' pick that.

On 'Hardware' there should be 'Device Manager' on the top, pick that.

Under 'Device Manager' you will see a little + next to 'Display
Adapters' click it.

It should now show the name of your video card. The manufacturer will
have the right drivers on their web site.

If that doesn't work or you don't have the 'Control Panel' on your start
menu you can get to 'Control Panel' by 'My Computer' and clicking
'System Information' in the upper left.
