Where is the address book located? When I search for *.wab, I find my old
outlook express address book.

It's within your pst file as Contacts.

You could try looking for a *.pab file if you used a personal address book
rather than contacts. However if you are using contacts you could try
opening the contacts list and export feature.

Outlook has not used a PAB for many years.
Exporting is no longer a recommended way to transfer Contacts because it can
create a file that is not compatible with other versions of Outlook.
The only safe way to transfer Contact data is to create a PST file in the
correct format and copy the Contacts into that file.

The guy did say "address book" not contacts and you are wrong im afraid as
when you add a personal address book outlook all versions installs a
mailbox.PAB by default. As for exporting it has worked for me many times
however on occasions its better to import "pull rather than push" .

Outlook has not used a PAB for many years.

A question of semantics:

Outlook might not have used a PAB for many years, that much is true.

However, PEOPLE using Outlook (up to and including Outlook 2003) are
STILL able to use PAB's, and I know quite a few that do...

Exactly. You have to ADD the pab. Outlook does not create that by
default. Therefore the vast majority of users have their addresses in
the Contacts folder.

And they should all be encouraged not to. The option to use PAB's exists
only for legacy purposes. It is an interface that has undergone no
development, does not retain full integration with Outlook and is no longer
a supported way to store Contact data.

Sorry, Russ is rarely wrong (99.999% right - the magic 5 nines) - the reason

How does he find time to be a cardiologist AND an MVP?

Sorry, Russ is rarely wrong (99.999% right - the magic 5 nines) - the reason
he is a respected cardiologist. Would you want a cardiologist who is
"almost always" right? Not me.

He is as good with Outlook issues as he is with the heart - unless fatally
damaged - as Outlook is in many scenarios.

Don;t know about the sleep thingie but Doctors are well-known for their
ability to work long shifts. As for being an MVP - he has been as long as
me, which is since 1999.

No differently than any other MVP. Every one has a "day job" and demands on
their time no less than mine.
