Outlook Address Book Help states:"
To export your Address Book contacts to other programs
You can export your Address Book contacts to other Windows
Address Book (.wab) files, as well as to Microsoft
Exchange Personal Address Book, or any text (.csv) file.
To export your Address Book files to another Windows
Address Book:
In Address Book, on the File menu, point to Export, and
then click Address Book (WAB).
Locate and select the Windows Address Book file you want
to export to, and then click Open.
For all other address book formats:
In the Address Book, on the File menu, point to Export,
and then click Other Address Book. Click the address book
or file type you want to export to, and then click
Export. "
In ms search:
Open Address Book
To open the address book, click Start, point to All
Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Address
Book. You can also open the address book from Outlook
Express by clicking Address Book on the Tools menu.
Export/import greyed out as well.

When opening file the menu export/import option is greyed
out (deactivated)
So I highlight all entries and still option is greyed out?
Anyone know how to change settings to enable export of
address book?
I have attempted both ms outlook as well as ms outook
express. Both were "greyed" out
I even reinstalled outlook express and the file
import/export are greyed out.
On my last job I was able to do this without any problem,
creatng csv file that was managed in excel.

If I am unable to do this, I will have to enter all
addresses fresh into Palm Desktop address book for
uploaded to my handheld device.

Perform the Import/Export from the main Outlook window, not the address
book.
