How to find cookies in WinXp

C

Claude

Hello All:
I'm using Windows XP Home Edition.

I'd like to delete some individual tracking cookies on my computer.
A search brings up two cookie locations:
c:\windows\temp
and
c:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile

However, when I look in these folders the only thing I find for cookies is
an index.dat file. There are no individual cookies showing at all.

How can I access and delete individual cookies?

Thank you,
Gloria

Hi Gloria,

try going to:

C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR_USERNAME]\Local Settings\Temporary
Internet Files

You will have to enable "view all hidden files" under your folder
option..
