How to extract sound clip from power point slide show?

I want to extract a sound clip which is currently attached to a power point
show as a back ground music. I am using Power point 2003 version.

Save your presentation as a webpage, in the save list choose webpage (*.htm;
*.html). PowerPoint will make a folder, all the components of the slideshow
will be in there including the music file.

well this is what u do when u put the song or sound clip make sure its on
the first slide then go to custom animation (table) and right click go to
effect option and then it says start playing from the beginning and then it
says stop playing.... u pic which but if u wnat iit to go through the whole
presentation put the amount of slides u want it to last on
