In SP2 for XP there is a tool called powercfg , to set the power save
settings on a admin level, when the normal user logs in the power settings
set by the admin is not propegated, and if you export the scheme and import
it to a different computer the power setting are not beeing propegated
properly .
I need to set the power save setting on 200 laptops, This can not be done
through a GPO in AD , so we need to do this through a VB script or similar.
I need to know how to get the power setting on the machine to be the one
used rather than the on on a user level. The users do NOT have permission to
set or change the power save setting.
