how to export calendar data to another PC / Outlook 2003

Have made a backup of outlook 2003 from the export wizard to a PST file, then
onto CD, when importing it into the new machine it has the folders but none
of the data. There is no read only attribute.

What i am attempting to do is copy the calendar appointments from one
machine to another as the first machine had a problem and i had to reformat
the hard drive.

Obviously i now have to reinput all the data, however where and how do you
backup calendar data. Just in case the machine in question goes on the blink.

Never export and import Outlook data. It's too easy to make mistakes and
lose data, as you must did.
Just copy your PST file and open it in the other installation.
