How to enable opening up multiple IE windows (webpages)??

Hi there!
Indeed, before I was able to open up several webpages, minimize them
and then click on them later on again at my Task Bar.
But nowadays, everytime I surf to a new site, the previous page will be
automatically..."overwritten"!!
I already checked at my IE setting (under "Internet Options/Advanced")
to make sure that the option "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"
is still...UNchecked...which it was!
So any "hot tips" from you folks would be now highly appreciated...

PS: And of course, I already tried to use the "repair-mode" for my IE.

PS:
I just noticed now that during a split of a second, another button
(a yellow No. "2") wants to display at my Task Bar (when I want
to open up another webpage)...but it disappears immediately!!
(= Prove that the option "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"
is already UNchecked in my case).
