How to eliminate "My Documents" from the Windows Explorer browser?

When I start up Windows Explorer, it always opens up
the "My Documents" folder by default. I'd prefer to open
up my "C:" folder instead, and I don't particularly even
want a separate "My Documents" folder on the browser. How
can I change this behavior?
