How to edit pop up list of "To:" email addresses?

In Outlook 2007 I sent an emai to the wrong address (a typo). Now (as always)
every time I start to type a name in the "To:", "CC:" or "BCC" field of an
email , I get a pop-up list of all email addreses I sent that starts with
that letter (after I type the first charater of the recepient address) which
is very convienant and usefull. But now that list contains the email with
the typo right after the correct address. I want to remove the address that
has the typo.

How can I remove the undesired email address from that pop up list of
addresses?

That worked.
Now I feel dumb. That's the advise I would have given if someone asked me
that. Sometimes you just dont see the trees from the the forest.
Thanks so much.

You shouldn't feel dumb. Actually it's not that obvious because most people
don't use their arrow key to scroll down the list, they use their Tab key,
and that doesn't work.

My e-mail addresses are not popping up when I start typing names in the"to"
window. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Not really pertaining to the thread, you should really have started a new
one rather than piggyback on someone else's.
What version of Outlook?
