how to edit game files

could someone tell me in laymans terms how to edit the
shortcut to indiana jones and the emperors tomb. PLEASE
MAKE IT SIMPLE AS I AM A NEW COMPUTER USER!

Hi Jackie,

Let's say you need to edit the shortcut to play in Windows 98 Mode:

1.. Right click on the shortcut to the program.
2.. Click on Properties.
3.. Click on the Compatibility tab.
4.. Click on Run this program in compatibility mode and select:
b.. Windows 98
5.. Click on Apply.Click on Ok.
