How to download and combine multipart binaries

Since this question seems to be being asked a lot here:

Simply install and use Grabit:

http://www.shemes.com/

This program makes multipart files appear to be already joined. All you
see is a list with the names of available files as they would appear
after you join all the parts. Not only that, but it automatically joins
all the parts when you decide to download a file. In other words, the
whole "multipart file" mess is transparent to you.

Don't bother with the VERY problematic BNR2 or BNR3. That program will
really cause you grief. I suffered with it for a couple of years until I
discovered Grabit.

I've tried them all, and Grabit is the best. Very easy to use and
logically arranged.

Grabit is currently Pricelessware:

I don't reply to trolls like Andy Mabbett, Doc (who uses sock puppets)
or Roger Johansson, for instance. No adware, cdware, commercial
software, crippleware, demoware, nagware, PROmotionware, shareware,
spyware, time-limited software, trialware, viruses or warez for me, please.

Is Power-Grab the same as Grabit? Should we use Power-Grab or get Grabit
from here:
http://download.shemes.com/GrabIt160b.exe

TIA, Juzme

The Powergrab website is no longer there. Grabit is easy to find and
still being developed.

As I stressed in my OP, don't bother looking around. Grabit is the best.

Now if you want to UPLOAD instead of download, that's a whole 'nother
issue. About the only game around for uploading is Yenc PowerPost A&A
v11b. Unfortunately, that program was developed by the same person who
wrote PowerGrab. Both programs are (TTBOMK) no longer being developed.
You would have to search for a download because the home page is no
longer around.

I still have a copy of the installation file for YENC Powerpost though,
and could post it in ABF, unless anybody knows of a reason why I shouldn't.

Forte AGENT does this and has
since it's inception (joined multipart files)
and I believe that FREE AGENT does this
too. Simply highlight the files and right
click on a PC and you have the option
to JOIN FILES.

Seems to be available at some sites listed here:
