I just assumed that you were talking about text because you asked about
displaying a line. Text can be animated to appear on a mouse click. Can you
please describe the problem in more detail?
Right click the second text box and select "Custom Animations". I think that
you'll find that an animation of "Appear" has been assigned, which is why you
have to use a mouse click to animate them. You can remove the animation setting
if you want all of the text to appear at the same time.
Choose Custom Animation from the Slide Show menu. In the upper left
corner of the dialog box, you should see some shapes listed, and some of
them have checks in check boxes. Click on the checks to remove them.
Alternatively, you can set the settings to bring one whole shape in at a
time, but you asked to see the whole slide.
