How to disable Welcome screen

Hi,

I have a problem with the Welcome Screen.
I do not want it, I want the classic view.
I have tried to disable it from the controlpanel but it doesn't go away.
I have even tried the reg-hack from
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;291559 but the darn
welcomescreen still shows up (with 2 users, Administrator and username).

Running Windows XP SP2.

Any ideas?
