How to disable auto load cd

I want to disable the auto load or auto boot cd, each
time i insert a new cd, windows explorer comes out, with
the cd contents. How to disable that??

You could always hold down the shift key as you insert your CD.

you can still disable the autoplay feature under Windows XP
you either need to edit the registry manually or use TweakUI (or any other
tweak utility out there) to disable the Autoplay for only specific drives or
all at once.
you can find TweakUI from MS here:
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...a6-b352-839afb2a2679/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

in TweakUI go to the "My Computer" setting, and turn of the drive you dont
want to have Autoplay, or turn it of completly for all cd and dvd drives.
