How to disable a hyperlink when opening link warning?

I have a hyperlink field in a form. The links map to documents on a
local drive. When I attempt to open the doc via a link I get a MS
Access warning message about hyperlinks that I have to click through.
I
want to hand off the database to a client. Is there a way to disable
the warning using Access or VBA?

I am not familiar with the use of hyperlinks in this fashion. That said,
are you sure it is Access rendering the message? Could it be a security
setting from IE?
