How to determine if anytime upgrade is on the DVD?

How can I determine if anytime upgrade is on my Vista DVD?
I got a DVD using express upgrade and there isn't the regular cover on the
disc (I didn't even get a case) so I cannot check for the anytime upgrade
logo. On the Certificate of Authenticity label it just says "Windows Vista
Home Premium" (the word "upgrade" is not there). I was also able to do a
clean install with it (and activate it) using the. The name (or whatever it's
called) on the DVD is LRMCFRE_DA_DVD, I don't know if that'll be of any help.
Are there any files I can look for on the DVD to determine of the anytime
upgrade files are on there, or does the install program (setup.exe) have more
options on (other than "Check compatibility online" and "Install")?

All DVDs are the same. The only difference is the label and whether it
is 32bit or 64 bit. What version is installed is determined by the CD
key you enter during setup.

Ok thanks, does that mean that every disc contains the anytime upgrade as
well? The preparation checklist
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pr...rupgrade/windowsanytimeupgrade/checklist.mspx)
says to make sure that I have an Anytime Upgrade disc. I wanted to know if
there is some way I can make sure that the disc I was supplied with via
express upgrade is identical with the one I could buy in a store (which would
have the anytime upgrade, right?) except for the cover which isn't. Or is
what they mean is to make sure that a disc you would have doesn't contain an
image file from a computer manufacturer instead of the actual Vista
installation files?

Hi Daniel--

According to MSFT's FAQs and information here, any Vista Disc that is
legitimately purchased including OEM has Anytime Upgrade capability.

Yes. If you got your Anytime Upgrade online, you'll have a small file
you downloaded. Run that and then whilst that is open, run Setup off
the DVD and it'll do its thing. You'll not be prompted for a CD Key -
the small app does that.
