How to delete toolbar buttons I created in Word to execute macros

While creating some macros recently, I chose the option to create a button
that gets placed on the toolbar of my choice for each ("macro name" is
dragged and dropped to toolbar during creation to create a new toolbar button
for quick and easy access to a macro). Although I do know how to delete the
macro itself, I can't turn up how to delete a user-created macro button from
a toolbar. (Note that deleting a macro doesn't cause a related toolbar button
to be deleted along with it). Thanks for any help you can be.

Select Tools-Customize. With this menu open, use the mouse to drag any
unwanted button or icon off the toolbar. Release it into the body of the
document and you have deleted it. If it's on a menu, right-click the item
and choose Delete. Close the Customize menu to complete.

Even without Customize open you can drag buttons off a toolbar by pressing
Alt.
