how to delete pics from my camera?

I cannot figure out how to get the pictures off my camera :) I've got
XP, latest updates etc. I see the box, "delete pictures from my
device..." but its disabled, greyed out. Of course I can't just
highlight a pic & delete it either. WHAT A PAIN!!!

Also, anyone know how to automatically convert a bunch of bmp's to
jpg's so I don't have to go into ea. one and do a save-as? I've got
Logitech ImageStudio 7.3 but don't see that ability.

Normally you will need to use the cameras software to
delete pictures from your camera. Some are funny that
way. So try the camera software first.
